Pleasure Point
Bellevue, WA
Originally designed by Roland Terry in 1959 and later updated by Tom Kundig, this iconic Lake Washington home carries a legacy of Northwest craftsmanship. Charlie, once a member of Kundig’s team, took the baton to guide its next evolution—honoring its architectural lineage while enhancing the indoor-outdoor experience. Her design carefully opened up sight lines to embrace 270-degree lake views, while managing sunlight and water reflections to maintain comfort. A grounded, earthy palette softens and balances the abundant natural light. With thoughtful material choices and subtle spatial shifts, Charlie brought new life to the home—deepening its connection to its setting and ensuring its continued relevance for the generations ahead.
