The Bend House
bellevue, WA
Bound by a shared passion for sailing, the homeowners turned to architect Mark Ward of Upward Architecture to revitalize their lakeside home. He refined its bent floorplan with a new lake-oriented primary suite and refreshed spaces throughout. He also relocated the entry to frame a direct path to the water, drawing natural light deep into the interior. As the architecture took shape, Charlie curated furnishings, art, and finish selections that temper the lake’s reflective brightness and lend a lived-in character to the renewed spaces.
